At the core of our dental practice is a friendly team of professionals that are dedicated to your utmost comfort and optimal oral health. We view each patient as a unique individual, and tailor each treatment to your specific needs. Dr. Suzanne Baillie, DDS

Dr. Baillie graduated from the McGill Faculty of Dentistry in 1998 (D.D.S). Prior to that she received her Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) degree from the Univeristy of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Science B. Sc) degree from Carleton University.
Growing up in Barrhaven, Dr. Baillie was one of the first patients at the Barrhaven Dental Centre when it first opened it's doors in the 1970's. When she is not practising dentistry, she devotes her time to the two men in her life, Tim her husband and young son Connor. She would like to thank her patients for their continued patronage and kind referrals.

Dr. Marc Deschamps, DMD

Dr. Deschamps was born and raised in Kapuskasing, Ontario. He completed his dental studies at L'Université de Montréal in 1998 (D.M.D). During this time, Dr. Deschamps developed a keen interest in oral surgery, endodontics and crown and bridge work. Prior to this, Dr. Deschamps obtained a Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) degree from the University of Ottawa in 1993 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Cornell University in 1992. At Cornell he played varsity hockey from 1988-1992 and was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL in 1989.
Dr. Deschamps has dreamt of becoming a dentist since he was 10 years old. "The Big Guy with the Small Town Heart" considers it a priviledge to service the wonderful people of Barrhaven and beyond.
When Dr. Deschamps is not practising his passion for dentistry, he spends most of his free time with his lovely wife and daughter. He also enjoys cottaging, hockey, skiing, biking and travelling.

Dr. Lastri McDonagh, D.D.S.

D.D.S.

Dr. Lastri McDonagh has been a longstanding Barrhaven resident since her teenage years. She obtained a Biomedical Science Degree from the University of Ottawa and proceeded to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery title at the University of Western Ontario.

Dr. McDonagh is excited to be returning to the Barrhaven region, providing dental care to the community where she grew up in.

As Dr. McDonagh continues to grow in her career, she remains dedicated to providing the best care to her patients; staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in dentistry through continuing education.

For our patients that are a little anxious about their dental treatment, Dr. McDonagh will be providing services with nitrous oxide to help make their experience less stressful.

When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. McDonagh enjoys reading, spending time with family, and staying active at the gym.

Mary

Office manager/Treatment Coordinator

Mary is a Certified Level II Dental Assistant who brings over 40 years of dental experience to the Barrhaven Dental Centre. She has been a valued member of our team since 1998. As a long standing resident in this area, she enjoys working within the Barrhaven Community!
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and renovations!

Cheryl

Dental Assistant CDA II

Cheryl has been a valued employee at the Barrhaven Dental Centre since the 1990's. You will find her assisting with Dr. Deschamps to provide the best care for our patients. She also makes sure that our clinic runs smoothly as she manages our inventory and equipment maintenance. Thinking of whitening? Ask Cheryl or any of our team members to help you achieve that beautiful smile.

Lise

Dental Assistant CDA

Lise has been a certified Dental Assistant since 1994, and an important part of our team since 2000. She enjoys working in Barrhaven as she and her family are part of this close knit community. With her friendly smile and disposition, Lise will be sure to make you dental visit a pleasant one!

Rosemary

Registered Dental Hygienist

Rosemary has been a valued team member at the Barrhaven Dental Centre since 1998. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Algonquin College. She is committed in helping her patients maintain excellent oral hygiene health. In her spare time Rosemary enjoys being a grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren. She also likes to spend time with her husband and three adult children enjoying outdoor activities.

Charlynne

Registered Dental Hygienist

Charlynne has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1995 and a dedicated member of the Barrhaven Dental Centre since 1997. She is committed to providing professional and compasionate dental hygiene service to all of her clients.
Charlynne lives in Barrhaven with her husband and two teenage daughters. In the summer she enjoys camping with her family. In the winter she prefers to hibernate, with the exception of an annual Caribbean getaway.

Sue

Registered Dental Hygienist

Alycia

Registered Dental Hygienist

Alycia has been with the Barrhaven Dental Centre team since January 2016. She graduated from the Dental Assisting Levels I and II Program from St. Clair College in 2010. Wanting to continue further in her dental career, she returned to St. Clair and graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program in 2012. She is passionate about providing her patients with the best quality dental care during their visits.
In her spare time she enjoys cooking, playing sports and spending time with her husband and family.

Chloe

CDA II

Chloe is a certified Dental Assistant and joined the team in the summer of 2024. She graduated
the Dental Assisting program at Algonquin College. She also has a bachelor’s degree in
biomedical sciences from the University of Ottawa. You will see Chlӧe around the office either
assisting or at front reception. In her spare time, she keeps in tune with her creative side doing
puzzles, scrapbooking, card making, baking, or partaking in a musical. Don’t be surprised if you
hear her sing or see her dance around the office. She loves to answer questions. Feel free to ask
in English or French since she is bilingual.
